End-User License Agreement

This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and Tasksetters ("we", "us", or "our") that governs your use of the templates and other files made available on this site (each, a "Template"). By downloading or using a Template, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not download or use the Templates.

The Templates are licensed, not sold, to you. This Agreement does not transfer ownership of any Template to you.

Licence we grant you

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to download, edit, and use the Templates for your own personal or internal business projects. This includes customizing a Template with your own content and using it to plan, run, and deliver your projects.

What you may do

  • Download and save the Templates for your own use.
  • Edit, adapt, and customize the Templates to fit your projects.
  • Use the Templates internally within your own organization, team, or business.
  • Share your own completed, filled-in work product (not the blank Template itself) with your clients or stakeholders as part of your normal work.

What you may not do

To protect the work that goes into these Templates, you may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise distribute the Templates (blank or lightly modified) to others, whether for free or for payment.
  • Redistribute or share the Template files publicly, including uploading them to file-sharing sites, public template galleries, marketplaces (for example, template or spreadsheet stores), or other websites.
  • Claim the Templates as your own, or present yourself as their original author or owner.
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or ownership notices contained in the Templates.
  • Create a competing product or template library based substantially on the Templates.
  • Use the Templates in any way that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.

If you would like to use the Templates in a way this Agreement does not permit, please contact us first to ask for written permission.

No warranties

The Templates are provided "as is" and "as available" with all faults and without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Templates will meet your requirements, be accurate or error-free, or produce any particular result. You are responsible for checking any Template, including any formulas or calculations, before you rely on it.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tasksetters and its suppliers shall not be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunities, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Templates, including any error, omission, bug, defect, or miscalculation contained in a Template. To the extent liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, Tasksetters' total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Templates or this Agreement shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the applicable Template. If you obtained the Template free of charge, Tasksetters shall have no monetary liability.

Indemnification

You agree to hold Tasksetters harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the Templates, your violation of this Agreement, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Term and termination

This Agreement remains in effect until terminated. It will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. You may terminate it by deleting all copies of the Templates. On termination, you must stop using the Templates and delete all copies in your possession.

Governing law and changes

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Manitoba, Canada, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. We may modify this Agreement from time to time; if a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice before it takes effect. By continuing to use the Templates after changes become effective, you agree to the revised Agreement.
