Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Tasksetters (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of them, please do not use the Service.

Using the Service

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. They apply to all visitors and users. Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information, and to the End-User License Agreement, which governs how you may use the templates you download.

The templates are provided for your own use

Our templates are tools to help you plan and manage projects. They are provided on an "as is" basis for your own use. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and adapting any template before you rely on it, and for verifying any formulas, calculations, figures, or results it produces. We do not provide accounting, financial, legal, engineering, or other professional advice, and the templates are not a substitute for professional judgment.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tasksetters and its suppliers shall not be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunities, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Templates, including any error, omission, bug, defect, or miscalculation contained in a Template. To the extent liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, Tasksetters' total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Templates or this Agreement shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the applicable Template. If you obtained the Template free of charge, Tasksetters shall have no monetary liability.

"As is" and "as available" disclaimer

The Service and all templates are provided "as is" and "as available" with all faults and without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that the Service or any template will meet your requirements, achieve any intended result, be accurate or reliable, operate without interruption, or be free of errors or harmful components.

Intellectual property

The Service and its original content, features, templates, and functionality are and will remain the property of Tasksetters and its licensors, and are protected by copyright and other laws. What you may and may not do with the templates is set out in our End-User License Agreement.

Links to other websites

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not own or control. We assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites, and you access them at your own risk. We encourage you to review their terms and privacy policies.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba, Canada, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Your use of the Service may also be subject to other local, national, or international laws.

Disputes

If you have any concern or dispute about the Service, you agree to first try to resolve it informally by contacting us.

Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice before it takes effect. By continuing to use the Service after changes become effective, you agree to the revised Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
